Chromium + Flash

Hej... I'd like to give Chromium a chance, but I can't get flash working. There are a lot of how to's on the net, but none of them seem to work here... I run Arch64 and installed chromium-browser-bin. Is there anyone who knows what to do?

Re: Chromium + Flash

try chmod -R 755 /usr/lib/mozilla

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: Chromium + Flash

It does not work.. sad

Strange, though: the only browser where the flashplugin (/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins) works is Opera. In Firefox it does not work as well. "about:plugins" shows the same in Chromium and in Firefox: no flashplugin installed. Whereas in Opera "about:plugins" shows exactly the same list + flashplugin. Weird..

Edit: Just figured out that only the flashplugin-version downloaded from Adobe.com works for Opera. The "pacman -Sy flashplugin"-version does not work in any installed browser. Firefox crashes, Chromium says that the plugin crashes and in Opera it does not work as well. What to do?

Re: Chromium + Flash

Flash updated on firefox does have some issues. Though you get ADM with add-on, still there is issue.
