directfb - almost running - ALMOST

Hi,

I currently try to get direcfb running.

modprobe rivafb => ok
fbset 1280x1024-60 => gives me a nice 1280x1024 solution on my tft with 60hz
modprobe fusion => ok

when I run dfbterm in /usr/local/bin it is starting, no problems, BUT the frequency is too high !!!

It tries to start with 97hz!!!

Well, where can I adjust the frequncy to 60hz. Anyone knows ?

thanks

Kin

flat panels do not render the same as a CRT - they all display at 60Hz

think about it this way.... a CRT monitor "repaints" itself in a zig-zag...upper left corner, draws a line to upper right, moves down a row and repeats... it does this 60 times per second.  A TFT/DFP does not use scan lines and as such each pixel modifies its own state at 60Hz... there is no flicker on a TFT/DFP
