XDirectFB

Hi,

on www.directfb.org you can see some really nice screenshots about running a patched xserver ( XF86 release 4.3.0 ), accelerated with directfb and running gnome on it.

Anyone succeded in making a package ?

Anyway, it would be great to have it into the "portage"

If you're using Gentoo, it's in Portage already, and it sucks - extremely slow and IIRC not all that stable.

If you're using Arch, stick with XOrg, because it actually works.
