I moved the libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and ~/.mozilla/plugins.
I logged in an out ,flashstill doesn't work.
IN the folder I downloaded, there was the libflashplayer.so and the flashplayer-installer shell script.
When I click on flashplayer-installer,nothing happens.
when I sh flashplayer-installer it says
ERROR: Your architecture, \'x86_64\', is not supported by the
Adobe Flash Player installer.

That is the 32bit one.
When I used 64bit flash on other distros,I saw a huge difference. I will never go back to 32bit.
Sadly,on fedora the cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins worked witout a hitch.

Are you sure that's true? There are flashplugin packages for both 32-bit and 64-bit in extra. The 64-bit version doesn't look like it depends on any 32-bit libraries to me. I'm not sure exactly which version is actually getting installed though. I'm running x86_64 on a couple machines and 'pacman -S flashplugin' worked fine for me. I haven't had any strange behavior out of it at all.

our flashplugin package is native 64 bit.
if is not working check the permission of /usr/lib/mozilla/, it should be 755.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

You can search for Arch packages easily from: http://www.archlinux.org/packages/
In fact, I'd suggest:
pacman -S arch-firefox-search
