Finally made the step from cozy ubuntu to adventurous Arch and here I am:

I have to change the visibility of conky because the font in the middle isn't great to readon my new background

btw: anybody knows a solution for transparency of all panel-icons at gnome2.28?
with 2.26 transparency worked well...

Yeah, it's openbox with the 1977 theme and Murrina Candido for gtk.
Tint2 as well.

Was playing around with Photoshop and ended up with a wallpaper. Still working on my terminal color scheme.

Started KDE to show a friend a Java app yesterday, and I haven't left yet. I'm enjoying the seasonal look. (And really, nothing beats a friend looking over and yelling "OMG why is it SNOWING on your desktop?!")

The Parley plasmoid also displays Japanese much better now (though I think Japanese has been looking better everywhere recently, so I'm not sure what's responsible).

You should look again... He has the standard 4 Desktops. Thats not the pager you are looking at

I believe that it is 'cursetheweather' from the AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=16659

I like it but I think this one gives better detail for the day's weather (and you can add different locations like the beach): http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=13377
