Hi,
I successfully completed a net (wired Ethernet with DHCP) Arch 32b installation. ( I mean the first installation prior to adding X).
After selecting the place to put GRUB and setting a root password, I followed instructions to type "reboot" and remove the installation CD.
Upon reboot, GRUB's menu appears, and when I select Arch, I see the first lines (too fast to follow) "running" on my screen.
I remember seeing the line saying "Loading modules" OK, and the next line appears shortly. Afterwards, I hear a switch inside my old CRT display click (which it does when it "looses the video signal) and the screen display turns off and stays this way.
I have "waited for 10 minutes at that stage with no change.
The same occurred again during several reboot trials.
Please advise!

Indeed disabling KMS solved the problem!
