I recently upgraded from the 2.6.30 kernel to version 2.6.31. With this upgrade I have noticed something odd - there's a light indicating that the Bluetooth controller is on. This light now turns on when I boot Arch. I have never installed any Bluetooth drivers or software, and I'd prefer if bluetooth disabled as I do not use it with Arch. Does anyone have any ideas?
Btw, my machine is a Thinkpad T61 with a "Broadcom Corp. Bluetooth Controller", according to lsusb.

I've a Thinkpad T60 with the same controller and problem. I've taken to working around this by disabling bluetooth in rc.local, though I'd be very grateful for a solution.

How exactly did you disable it in rc.local?

I use:
echo disable > /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth

Unfortunately this doesn't work either...
