lately it's just been: email, listening to music, and the odd chat or blog post. i used to have more time for coding and my own little projects, but lately i'm too busy with work and everyday life in general.
I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!

I use Arch Linux for document writing (mostly Lyx), image manipulation (GIMP and Inkscape mostly, sometimes even Krita), music production (JACK, fluidsynth, Rosegarden, Hydrogen, Ardour and almighty ZynAddSubFX), blogging (Blogilo -AKA Bilbo Blogger- and Choqok for microblooging) and everything (browsing web, listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, IM, playing games (XMoto and Battle for Wesnoth), creating presentations, etc.).

I use Arch all day at work, which means loads of open terminals, a constant use of ssh and almost everything done by CLI. Hey, dreams can come true.

Hatten: I recently got hired as a Linux sys adm. The Linux proficiency I needed to get this job I more or less can thank Arch Linux for. So, thank you Arch Linux!
To bring the topic back on track, when I'm not working I use Arch for: LaTeX, websurfing, a tiny bit of shell scripting, XMonad tweaking, Haskell Learning, man page reading (Yeah, I actually read man pages when travelling by train and the net is not available), amiga emulation and loads of other stuff.

Me too!
Apart from that Arch satisfies my every need... everything from RDP'ing my work box after hours for development --to managing my finances, studies and staying in touch with family overseas. All of that on a li'l AA1 150 which I can't seem to stop tweaking.
The keyboard is mightier than the pen.
