[SOLVED] Networkmanager gdm vs xinit

Hello!

I've got a problem and I coulnd't find a solution.
When I log in with xinit or startx the networkmanager applet doesn't show up in the notif. area. I tried adding a new notification area to the panel but that didn't help. The strange thing is, that when I log in with gdm, everything works fine. Is there a way to get it working while starting a gnome-session with xinit? Thanks in advance!
