[solved]audiolpayer with its own mixer?

is there any console based audioplayer available with its own miser like vlc has its own for fine tuning the volume?
i have the problem that moc and mp3blaster music volume is identically to the alsamixer volume increase/decrease; and i have the problem that volume 00 is not quiet enough;
i cant fix that so maybe thats a workaround now if someone knows such a player; thanks for your hints

mpd... it has the option to use a softvolume, meaning the hardware mixers are not touched at all.
