Did anyone compile opensg on archlinux?

Hi all,

I need this library for compiling and running another research code. It is a (big) scenographic library based on opengl. It seems a not intensively developed project though, even if with a quite large user basis. The website is obsolete and doesn't even point to the latest stable release (1.8) which is found on sourceforge.
Site:
http://www.opensg.org/index.EN.html

Sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/opensg/files/

the compilation (veery long and complicated) fails miserably without breaking (!); I mean, after almost an hour and a lot of sparse error messages, the compilation goes on but no .so file is builded in the end! This beast seems extremely complicated to build. Did anyone already try it on arch?

I am currently on arch 64 and need the qt4 support for opensg. Hopefully someone more experienced can help me on that.

Cheers

Re: Did anyone compile opensg on archlinux?

Update: maybe I succeeded, through the cvs version. Quite an effort, since the site of the project is down and I need a relatively old version of the lib. The basic solution was based on:

http://vijaymichaeljoseph.blogspot.com/ … -qt4x.html
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dgz9dtmx_18mrv63dcc

It is not clear to me though if the package is really ok now. If someone has spare time, I would appreciate an opinion: I put the beast on aur on

http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=32582

If someone's interested, here or in the aur page, then.
See ya,
