Temporarily change default boot item in grub?

I am wanting in arch where I can temporarily change the default boot item in grub. BCD in Vista has the capability to temporarily change the default item until the next bootup. Is there anything like this in Arch or Linux in general? Thanks.

Yes, it does... when the GRUB menu pops up, press the letter e so that you can edit the menu entries for the current boot only.

Just change the menu.lst, you can even make it remember what you selected last time and have it default to that.

That's even better... I forgot about that option.
