Help installing VooDoo 2?

I have ArchLinux isntalled with XFCE4 as my GUI, but it does not like my old matrox card, so I'd like to pop in an old Creative Labs voodoo 2 and get OpenGl working, what all do I need to do, Im a virgin at this.

did that often in the past and short googleing gave me this:

hmm, when ever I click on a link, it acts like it is opening a file, but it is only a web adress...

I'd settle with only 2D acceleration if i have to.
