Hi,
I've got 2 machines with arch set up. On one machine (A) I've a sound card connected to some hifi equipment so I can acutally hear stuff.
Pulse on that machine is set up to receive sound via
load-module module-native-protocol-tcp auth-anonymous=1
load-module module-zeroconf-publish
On machine B I used to just select server A in padevchooser.
Now, after an upgrade (last update before was >1 month ago) for some reason nothing changes when I select server A on box B.
I select server A in padevchooser, but if I launch any other pulse stuff on that machine (B) it still talks to the local pulse server. For instance launching paman will display stuff from pulse on B instead of A.
That used to work fine, and I don't think something on A is wrong, because if I do
PULSE_SERVER=A paman
on B then paman works as expected by talking to A instead of the local pulse on B (also with xine or something like that).
-> Does someone have any idea what might have broken here?
kind regards

I have the same problem. The solution is to recompile pulseaudio. This is because arch compiles it without the xsmp(or something like this) plugin.
