I have just installed arch on my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop.
I have configured wireless netwrok to connect automatically using net-cfg and net-profiles daemon as described in the wiki.
Most of the time, it works but often It looses connection on reboots. With error like authentication/association failed, No connection etc. It sounds rediculous but to fix the problem I have to reboot.
Moreover, even if I change the WM (e.g. logout from Kde and login to openbox) I also lose the wireless internet connection.
Here some data:
Wreless Network controller:
Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG [Calexico2] Network Connection (rev 05)
Modules are loaded
[root@moonlight: ~ ]# lsmod | grep 2200
ipw2200 145224 0
libipw 27680 1 ipw2200
lib80211 5856 3 lib80211_crypt_tkip,ipw2200,libipw
Firmware is installed
[root@moonlight: ~ ]# pacman -Q ipw2200-fw
ipw2200-fw 3.1-2
Any ideas ?

At the time of loss of connectivity I saw some message regarding IPV6 in dmesg. I am currently not on the machine so cannot provide the exact error message. But it was some thing like
no ipv6 router found
Should I disable ipv6 ? How can I do this ?
thanks & regards,
Hardik

Thanks,
It seems to be fixed now. I don't have sudden loss of connectivity.
