Re: The Arch-Games logo creation contest! [Winner posted!]

Just a reminder to everyone that voting will begin on Sunday. I may have to disqualify some logos for trademark reasons, but I will look into it. Please have final submissions ready by Saturday!

Updated version with correct font (as PJ pointed out)

Nice, man! That would make a kick-ass icon, as well.

Yeah, it would probably make a better icon than a logo big_smile

Maybe you (scnd101) can make a logo with your graphics which is more like the secound one from GraveyardPC's last proposals. It still looks too much like a xmas tree big_smile

A christmas tree? I don't see it tongue

I took a little bit longer to post it than I had planned, so voting will remain open until the 15th.

Vote here!

Re: The Arch-Games logo creation contest! [Winner posted!]

Not sure about the result from the voting, the website isn't accessible right now. Well, I found some minor issues with joystick2 which I have fixed in the svg that I have posted below. The issues wasn't that majored but the logo didn't look that great on backgrounds other than white.

@dunc, PJ:  That thread brings back good and not-so-good memories!

It does. I still maintain that it's what really made me feel a part of Arch during my first year using it.

FWIW dunc, I pimped your logo when I met Judd and gang last month...I still think it was one of the best!

lol Thanks. For what it's worth, the wallpaper on my netbook for the last couple of months (which I really should post to the forum; I don't log on nearly often enough these days) has featured an enormous version of yours.

And congratulations to PJ. Nice job. Thanks to my forum slacking I missed the voting, but that's the one I'd have picked.
