Skype ALSA error

Sound and microphone doesnt work in skype. It just spits out these errors to the terminal:

$ skype

I am positve that the correct sound devices have been chosen. Why am I getting this error?

I had many problems with the last version of Skype, so I went back on the 2.0 and now all is fine.
