Looking for documentation on Nautilus

Hi,

I'm now using Arch with Fluxbox and really like it. I'd like to use Nautilus as a file manager etc. Trouble is that after installing it with Pacman there is no documentation on it. When I look on the web for it, every link I try fails because of a missing external app called ghelp and I can't find that.

Can anyone help with a link to some docs that are easily accessible?

Thanks,

Jim

Re: Looking for documentation on Nautilus

For Gnome app help you need 'yelp' installed.

Just a personal preference, but for use with Fluxbox I would
recommend using 'rox' for file management.

Re: Looking for documentation on Nautilus

Snowman,
I added your server to my pacman.conf and tried pacman -S endeavour.

This is what I got;

pacman -S endeavour

Targets: endeavour-2.4.6-1

Total Package Size:   4.1 MB

Proceed with upgrade? [Y/n]

failed downloading /endeavour-2.4.6-1.pkg.tar.gz from snowman123.freefronthost.com: HTTP/1.1 302 Found

Re: Looking for documentation on Nautilus

Another user  had this problem but it works for me.   :? I think using wget instead of pacman's internal downloader might fix it.  Put

XferCommand = /usr/bin/wget --passive-ftp -c -t0 -T10 -O %o %u

in your pacman.conf

Or you can download the package from http://snowman123.freefronthost.com/ and install it with

pacman -A endeavour-2.4.6-1.pkg.tar.gz

Re: Looking for documentation on Nautilus

Your last post was very helpful.  It seems that most of my packages, including endeavour are bad. The package I used as a test was a good one. Probably something went wrong when I changed server.  sad   I will re-upload endeavour tonight and the rest eventually.
