ati x1300 not working

Hi guys

i'm new at arch and i'm trying to install my ati driver while 3 days. tried installing xf86-video-ati driver, tried catalyst. but is not working.
my kernel version is 2.6.31 and my X version is 1.7.3.901 (1.7.4 RC 1). i can't find any catalyst for these kernel and x.org versions.

and when i write glxinfo to konsol ; error:

Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyError: unable to open display :0.0

how can i install it.
my computer is very slow without it

i downgrade x.org 1.6.3.901, install catalyst 9.12 but still not working. when i try "modprobe fglrx" on konsole

WARNING: Deprecated config file /etc/modprobe.conf, all config files belong into /etc/modprobe.d/.
FATAL: Module fglrx not found.

what can i do to install it...

i've an ati x1300 too. Use the open driver in repo and the last version of Xorg.

now modprobe says me
