aircrack with wl driver?

ive been trying to use aircrack-ng but im not quite sure if im doing everything right.  I have a broadcom b4312 wireless card and im using the wl driver.  Aircrack should work with this driver.  Ive never used this program before so maybe im entering the wrong commands but after looking online and getting it set up i entered:

airmon-ng start eth1

it gave me this output

I didnt really know if it was working or not at this point so i decided to sniff an IV to see and i got this error

ioctl(SIOCSIWMODE) failed: Invalid argument

ARPHRD_IEEE80211_FULL or ARPHRD_IEEE80211_PRISM instead.  Make
sure RFMON is enabled: run 'airmon-ng start eth1 <#>'
Sysfs injection support was not found either.

can anyone tell me what im doing right/wrong ha
rfmon is enabled by the way

wl doesn't support aircrack.
Try the b43 driver with the newest kernel (in testing) which supporst BCM 4312 (I'm using it right now)
