Intel WiMAX/WiFi 5150 Not working

I just got an Intel WiMAX/WiFi 5150 for my laptop. I Got it installed, and it works in Windows, but in Arch dmesg says:

iwlagn 0000:04:00.0: Unsupported (too old) EEPROM VER=0x21b < 0x21e CALIB=0x4 < 0x4
iwlagn: probe of 0000:04:00.0 failed with error -22

Is there any way to get it to work, or did I just waste $50?
Will it be supported in the future?

Edit: Never mind, it seems I got a pre-production version, and apparently those are never supported. I guess that'll teach me to buy wireless cards off eBay.

Re: Intel WiMAX/WiFi 5150 Not working

OMG! I get on ebay a very cheap Intel 5300. It works great on windows, much better than the Intel 1000. But I get the same error on arch. ¿There is anyway to use ndiswrapper with it?
