Pacman not finding any new packages.

i havnt done an update for about 4-6 weeks, so there must be some updates available., but pacman isnt finding them?

[mark@markspc ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu
Password:

 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
 local database is up to date
[mark@markspc ~]$

is it a bug in pacman or have updates slowed down alot?
