lcrypto probs

I am trying to build some software, and its going good until it gets to linking, where i get this message:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcrypto

I have installed openssl already, and while online says stuff about openssl-devel packages, neither AUR or the official repositories have anything liek that...anyone know what else can be done to solve this?  i don't really know where to put this post, but I am running 64 bit arch, don't know if it matters.

peace

Re: lcrypto probs

Is this software linux-wbfs-manager from the aur? This builds fine for me on x86_64. If it is not this software, what is it?

PS: Don't double post. http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=87361 smile

Re: lcrypto probs

only did because didn't think newbie corner may have been best place for it, but thanks for the chastising, its not helpful and rude...i put my reasoning in the post above, not really a specific spot for compiling questions.

However, it was wbfs tool, from the creators website, i guess the wbfs-manager in aur may install what i need though, thanks.
