Hi all!
Today I have rebooted my computer and since I can't use the Terminus font anymore.
In fact, it doesn't appear in the fc-list.
I tried to reinstall it but it didn't work althought it is installed in the /usr/share/fonts/ directory.
This is very stange .... Could you help me?
I probably did something wrong but I don't know what.

In my case, it is located in /usr/share/fonts/local/
Check if you see a bunch of ter-xxxx.pcf.gz files there.
Also make sure /usr/share/fonts/local is in your fontpaths.
If you don't use a xorg.conf anymore, you can try putting this in your .xinitrc. It will include the fontpath in X.
xset +fp /usr/share/fonts/local
xset fp rehash

Everything seems ok in the /usr/share/fonts/local directory.
I modified my .xinitrc file but it didn't changed anything.
I also removed and reinstalled the bitstream-vera-sans package and it worked.
However, I tried to install the profont but it failed just like the terminus font.
Here's the output of the fc-cache -fv command
/usr/share/fonts: caching, new cache contents: 0 fonts, 9 dirs
/usr/share/fonts/100dpi: caching, new cache contents: 0 fonts, 0 dirs
/usr/share/fonts/75dpi: caching, new cache contents: 0 fonts, 0 dirs
/usr/share/fonts/TTF: caching, new cache contents: 43 fonts, 0 dirs
/usr/share/fonts/Type1: caching, new cache contents: 35 fonts, 0 dirs
/usr/share/fonts/cyrillic: caching, new cache contents: 0 fonts, 0 dirs
/usr/share/fonts/encodings: caching, new cache contents: 0 fonts, 1 dirs

/usr/share/fonts/misc: caching, new cache contents: 0 fonts, 0 dirs

/home/helios91/.fonts: skipping, no such directory
/var/cache/fontconfig: not cleaning unwritable cache directory
/home/helios91/.fontconfig: cleaning cache directory
fc-cache: succeeded
It seems that the fonts in the /usr/share/fonts/local directory are not detected.
