Elantech Touchpad on Asus n61vg notebook

Hello,
I recently got an ASUS n61VG notebook. However, i am having problem about configuring its touchpad to work with synaptics. When I don't do anything, touchpad works -by default-. But when I try to configure it via adding a fdi file for hal, it stops working.

Touchpad is incorrectly recognised as mouse, and hal says it doesn't have touchpad capability. Here is my related Xorg.log -> http://pastie.org/741653
And here is my /etc/hal/fdi/policy/11-synaptic-options.fdi file -> http://pastie.org/private/uyotus4lcrzguo9rfup8xw

Without any config file, I can see my touchpad on 'xinput list' command output as "ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse". Is there anything can be done?
