HFS+ IPOD readonly

Hello fellow archers smile

So after my 5G ipod freaked out and i had no other system by except my brother's MacBook, i decided to restore it from there.
After the restore everything is back to normal, only that now it's HSF+ formated. I knew that archlinux has support of the filesystem, and i can mount it properly, but only in read-only, i've being trying for days to get it into write mode, but without success sad.
I've loaded the proper modules but no change.

I've read several things over the net and in the forum, but i can't really make it to work.
Any idea would be most welcome smile

thanx smile and a happy new year big_smile

Re: HFS+ IPOD readonly

Hey,

I'm a bit of a Noob myself, but I had the read-only ipod problem (as well as some internal partition issues that would crop up now and then), and what fixed them for me was this thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=65070&p=1.

Re: HFS+ IPOD readonly

Thanx for the reply JohnnyRogers, but i've already tried with the policy-kit. I think the problem is because the Ipod has a HSF+ journaling file system. I look through it again, something with force option when it's mounted.
