Hello fellow archers
So after my 5G ipod freaked out and i had no other system by except my brother's MacBook, i decided to restore it from there.
After the restore everything is back to normal, only that now it's HSF+ formated. I knew that archlinux has support of the filesystem, and i can mount it properly, but only in read-only, i've being trying for days to get it into write mode, but without success .
I've loaded the proper modules but no change.
I've read several things over the net and in the forum, but i can't really make it to work.
Any idea would be most welcome
thanx and a happy new year

Hey,
I'm a bit of a Noob myself, but I had the read-only ipod problem (as well as some internal partition issues that would crop up now and then), and what fixed them for me was this thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=65070&p=1.

Thanx for the reply JohnnyRogers, but i've already tried with the policy-kit. I think the problem is because the Ipod has a HSF+ journaling file system. I look through it again, something with force option when it's mounted.
