[KERNEL-2.6.32] nvidia.ko: No such device

[phil@philstv-desktop ~]$ sudo modprobe nvidia
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.32-ARCH/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): No such device

Then I builded the driver myself:

still same result. Has anybody else the same problem?

remove nouveau from your system. is using the device and that's why you can't load nvidia

pacman -Qs nouveau
