I like eye candy don't you like eye candy too?

Now here's an interesting read and a glimpse of the probable future of X. Yeah I know it's Gnome propaganda and all and you hate eye candy. Well, don't read it! smile (In fact it has more to do with X than Gnome tongue)

Could you not word things so annoyingly?

Your post started out well enough then bleeded into what I would expect from a mandrake lover defending his love of KDE.

Short of that I found the "article" little more than the same old ramblings of an insane GNOME user going on about the linux desktop "situation".

I can't help but have a laugh every time I read these little rants and continue to hope they just "go away".

I bet in about 5 years we'll be reading about how HURD is the next big thing but just not "newb" friendly enough and/or doesn't look as good as it could.

Re: I like eye candy don't you like eye candy too?

I was actually trying to be ironic as to word off the "gnome sucks, kde is much better" remarks. I personally don't care about what someone else is using as DE or WM. As to it being a remark of an insane GNOME user, if you read it like I did, it actually talks about what some people are doing in X space. I just posted this because I found it interesting in a futuristic kind of way.
