Oss audio output to hdtv

Hi guys, i got the following issue:

Until today i run Ossv4 on my Archlinux os without any sort of problem: i connect 4.1 speaker through green and black jack and everything sounds good. If i connect my hda soundcard to my hd television with a 3.5 male-male jack cable (green jack) i got no sounds at all. With windows it works without any issue, so the cable is good.

Is an Ossxmix problem?
Do i need an audio server like pulseaudio (i don't think so..)

Any sugestions?

In the picture related is figured how i connect my pc on tv..

connect the cables
run osstest
It'll test all the channels with some audio. If you hear audio on your TV, then the problem is just finding the right device.
