[solved] Strangely slow connection

I have a very strange issue. I experienced this first time 2 days after switching to new kernel (2.6.32.2) Until that all was good, now I can't get it to work properly: the problem is: pinging a site doesn't make packet loss, shows 10-20ms, but preloads in around 10 secs, kmess sometimes reconnects, but all is ok, skype calling once works once not, and downloading a website takes for ages. (I have 8m/1m t-online it uses to be lightining fast even when dc and torrent working (I use wondershaper)). On valknut (DC++), hubs connects immediatelly. Restart didn't help
On the other MS computer, connections works OK, and we're connected to the same router

My question is: where to pust it if it's a bug, or if someone experienced this with nvidia LAN card

Re: [solved] Strangely slow connection

Did you by any chance try recompiling the nvidia driver?  I know i had video issues with the kernal updates using my nvidia card but then i reconfigured the driver it worked great...  just a suggestion.

Re: [solved] Strangely slow connection

My nvidia video driver is OK basically, even syncs to vblanc. The lan driver of nv is in the kernel basically, doesn't mind the video driver. Anyway sorry to all, it was my modem's problem, and I don't know why it worked well on windows first 2 tries.

Re: [solved] Strangely slow connection

HAven't experienced this myself though my configuration is somewhat like yours.  Was the kernel the only package updated, or were there others?

Other posts previously that I've come across users have mentioned that disabling the ipv6 module fixed a somewhat similar problem to yours:
