epiphany and Java

Hi,

I don't seem to have Java working with the epiphany browser. From searching the web, it seems it should use the same plugin dir as Firefox, which works perfectly. Any help?

Re: epiphany and Java

Java doesn't work with webkit-gtk for me. In fact, I think that it's been broken for a very long time.

Re: epiphany and Java

The problem is that /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/IcedTeaPlugin.so is linked against xulrunner libraries and therefor exclusively runs with Firefox only.

Re: epiphany and Java

Is it not possible to install another lib compatible with epiphany along side the current one?

Re: epiphany and Java

did you test jre to see if is working?

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

I'm not using openjdk if that's what you meant.

What about the JRE? It seems like webkit can see it, but it barely works.
