Hi all, i'm a newbie and i'm experiencing problems with NetworkManager.
I couldn't find any solution while i was looking for topics related to my problem.
Yesterday i was working on my laptop on batteries, i set the powersave to aggressive and worked until it turned off. Today i can't see any interface with NetworkManager.
I found this topic:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=87289
Anyway this doesn't solve my problem because my interfaces used to work perfectly.
I tried ifconfig eth1 up but still NetworkManager can't see it. Using iwlist i can see mi AP though.
Here's my rc.conf

Have you read the Beginners' Guide section on networking?
Is there a reason why you are blacklisting both interfaces?

I had a similar problem after a bad suspend, that has been hapening always since some time ago..
networkmanager couldn't see anything, after investigated my computer a little i did the following and it worked:
sudo /etc/rc.d/networkmanager wake

I had a ton of issues setting up my network manager. My main issue was WPA2. I ended up using wicd. Once installed I just run wicd-client -n, its one of the better networking programs in my opinion. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wicd theres the setup info if you wanna give it a go. I found that tutorial very informative and useful for connecting to networks.

I just followed the wiki, it says that i have to disable the interfaces to let NetworkManager handle them, and it worked for me until yesterday!
