64 bit flash doesn't work quite right.....SOLVED

Hi archers.......
I was wondering if anybody has any issues with 64 bit flashplugin?
I've been using it a while, and it seems ok...... but when I go over to myspace, it doesn't seem
to like the inbuilt music player.... it displays it incorrectly and it doesn't play the music from it......

can you guys who have 64bit flashplugin try aswell for me...... visit my page

www.myspace.com/kaddy080

tell me if the music plays and the music player looks right to you......

thanx

kaddy

If you use Shiretoko, it's better to edit the user agent string and remove Shiretoko and Put "Firefox" instead. It helps in many websites.

Shiretoko = firefox 3.5. It is the SAME thing. If you want to have the "name", just install firebrand package on archlinuxfr repository.

Or:

about:config -->

general.useragent.extra.firefox -->

Firefox/3.5.6

try installing the microsoft fonts (if you can't see text on myspace, mspaintadventures, etc)

what do you mean exactly?

and Shylock and whoever my page worked for..... Are you using the default fonts in Arch, or Microsoft fonts?
I doubt that fonts would be the issue but who knows.......???

thank you, this helped me on the flashes. Now I have no probs with it at all. But I hate the way all the browsers renders websites with msfonts installed sad (I use Konqueror for first Chrome for second browser)

yeah, its definitely annoying. however, for non-flash sites you should be able to edit your browser's font preferences. I know chrome has it and konqueror should do too

Re: 64 bit flash doesn't work quite right.....SOLVED

This is no surprise to me at all, I can't tell you how many forums I have read through where users have completely different experiences with flash. Flash has got to be the buggiest program ever. Example: Many flash players don't work for me at all, I go to youtube and the video loads and plays by itself, I can't click to pause or turn up the volume. But if I right click then double click really fast the buttons then works. It's F*ckn ridiculous that adobe can release such a program. It's even worse there are no good alternatives.
