Does ncmpcpp have an option for untagged files?

MPD finds music files without tags easily and I know of at least two MPD clients (ario and pmus) that will show an Unknown category. Does ncmpcpp have an option to do this?

Re: Does ncmpcpp have an option for untagged files?

does it help if you set the view to columns-mode, and then set one of the columns to display genre?

Re: Does ncmpcpp have an option for untagged files?

the config offers the following options

...
#empty_tag_marker = "<empty>"
...
#empty_tag_color = cyan
...

though, if you use a custom format for your playlist display i think ncmpcpp behaves differently.

Not too sure what you're after but if mp3's have no tags ncmpcpp just displays folder/file names.

Nope. There isn't any row for the column.

The top one is for the tag editor, but the tag editor won't show anything because ncmpcpp won't display the files.

That would be good enough, but it's not working here.
