Hi there! Just installed Arch on this cool netbook
So i have a poor performance with my intel graphic card:
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945GME GEM 20090712 2009Q2 RC3 x86/MMX/SSE2
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
Ive have installed mesa-7.6-2 intel-dri-7.6-2 and xf86-video-intel-2.9.1-1. Glxgears give near 310 FPS with any xorg config (clean or not).
warcraft3 in wine with 800x600x16bit and all settings turnd to low very laggy (wine war3.exe -opengl -windowed). And its doesnt start without "-windowed"(think this depends on non-standart resolution).
So..?

Hmm, just enabled KMS. ALl still remains - warsow runs laggy with artefacts, and yes war3 still terrible slow. In windowsXP all was nice playable

Did you manage to find asolution to this? I've just installed Arch for teh first time on my HP Mini 110 netbook and find the game I'm developing to be killed by poor GL performance. It's an ascii based game with no real demands on OpenGL. My glxgears shows 140fps which clearly should be a lot higher. A lot of forums posts point to mesa but it's not clear whether this is fixed or not at this time.

It seems that I have the same problem...
