Pacman tab completion?

Hello, having just successfully switched over from Ubuntu, and just getting my Gnome installed, I was wondering if there is tab-completion for installing packages with Pacman, similar to what apt-get has? I googled it and found someone saying to install bash-completion but that didn't remedy the problem.

Thanks for any help! Really enjoying the new experience smile

Re: Pacman tab completion?

I know that zsh has tab completion for pacman cause I'm using it now, but, I don't know if there is some fancy option needed or whether it is default.  There is also a package in the aur for enabling completion with yaourt if you use that.  Only problem with this is you'd need to switch over from bash to zsh which some people might not like.

Re: Pacman tab completion?

Could you put "[Solved]" in the title by editing the OP? You probably forgot to resource .bashrc or something similar, and when you logged out and back in it got resourced and enabled the completion
