Transient resolver failure

Hello everyone,

i am connected to the internet over wifi using the wicd client. Browsing is no problem, but pacman -Sy results in:

error: failed retrieving file 'core.db.tar.gz' from archlinux.puzzle.ch : Transient resolver failure

Thats quite strange since i can ping archlinux.puzzle.ch with success.

Any ideas?

Has to be a problem with the dns entries. Since i can ping single servers and browse with opera, chromium and konqueror were not able to resolve dns names.

I'm using global dns servers in the wicd preferences and now it seems to work. Would be best to change my network manager soon.
