Upgrade conflict issues

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade the packages, and I receive a conflict which doesn't seem to be able to be automatically resolved:

resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
:: kdemod-parted conflicts with parted. Remove parted? [Y/n] Y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: devicekit-disks: requires parted>=1.9.0-3

How can I solve this?

Re: Upgrade conflict issues

Ahh.. I did what you told me, and I got this:

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
missing dependency for devicekit-disks : parted>=1.9.0-3
missing dependency for kdemod-partitionmanager : parted

Seems like some packages want parted, and the kdemod-parted doesn't want parted. lol. How do we fix this now?

Re: Upgrade conflict issues

kdemod-parted should provide parted afaik. -Si and see if it does. If not, then you might want to report it as a bug.

Edit:

Btw, you probably want to check the chakra forum when you run into kdemod problems, since it's their project.
