Black X screen, no errors in Xorg.log!

Just updated my outdated Arch installation

When X starts, all I get is a blank screen.
I've removed my old xorg.conf and the problem persists.
Xorg.log shows no errors

http://pastebin.com/f12d69262

The terminals (tty1 to tty6) have distorted unreadable text. I can see characters as I type, but they're not readable. I can login and all.

When I switch to tty7 (X's terminal), I get a 'screenshot' of the last tty I was using. Only this time text is readable but it doesn't respond.

Please advice.

Re: Black X screen, no errors in Xorg.log!

I'm getting the same thing on a couple machines, except no output whatsoever on the terminals.
