Request for GRASS 6.4 svn package. [CREATED]

The reason I'm requesting this is because the current grass package has some bugs which do not permit me to work with grass.

This is the main bug which is making grass totally unusable. It has been fixed in svn, but the fix came out around 10 days after the rc5 came out (latest grass 6.4 version, which is in the community repo).

I might do this myself if I get around to learning how to make PKGBUILDs from scratch, but I would appreciate it if someone else can do this if they have the time.

you could try to found the commit that is fixing the issue and then make a feature request asking for it in the current package.

LATER: i've added a patch. please test this packages and tell me if is fixing your problem:

Just tried the x86_64 pkg and it fixed the mentioned bug . Ty for the quick fix.

P.S. I'll still try to make a PKGBUILD for the latest svn version.

I created a working GRASS svn package which can be found in the AUR or by following http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31481.

Edit: forgot to mention that the bug that I originally mentioned doesn't show up in this package. Also, there are some noticeable improvements in the svn version compared to RC5.

Hi folks,

I am just playing around with this version now, and I really like it. However, I would consider adding wxwidgets to the make depends, as this is the way that the GUI is moving for the default.  if you add -wx or -wxwidgets when starting the program, the change is immense. It now looks like a program someone would choose to use
