could someone please email me ttf-dejavu-2.30-1-any.pkg.tar.gz in different parts e.g. 1Mb each?
I cannot download it with pacman, powerpill, wget -c, firefox, etc...
my email: [Don't do this, the bots are most happy to pick it up as Skottish said]
it's not the first time I have this problem

Please elaborate. What exactly prevents you from downloading it?

That's very weird. I have no idea what to suggest.
You could try another mirror I guess (e.g.: ttf-dejavu-2.30-1-any.pkg.tar.gz on mirror.archlinux.fi).
If it still doesn't work, let me know and I'll e-mail you the file (in split parts).

just merge all those files in one .tar.gz and then
# pacman -U filename
easily i just hope you have all the dependencies tho...

In the case of packages, you may instead be able to build it via ABS.
Someone may have an idea as to the cause of the problem. If you'd like, could you provide more details regarding your network setup?

karlzt,
For future reference, you may want to not put your exact e-mail up in a forum. There are plenty of bots in the world that skim forums for e-mail addresses.

I passed it to root and then installed it with pacman -U, my eyes don't feel sick anymore. thank you all
I would like to know the cause of this problem, how do I give my network set-up?
I'm having this problem again with a package: http://ve.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/poo … 6_i386.deb in kubuntu
the second time that I had this problem months ago: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/82756
it's a linksys w3rt54g router and a axesstel EVDO

Flash it with new firmware, or put dd-wrt or openwrt on it.
But first check if it does the same thing with another computer connected to the router.
Offline
I connected the computer directly to the EVDO and the same happened, it stopped at 64%
so it has nothing to do with the linksys router

Are you able to test whether this happens with another system on your network? Also, does the same problem occur using both wired and wireless connections? If not, please post the model of the problem controller.
Offline
yes, it happens with another system on the network and the same problem occur using both wired and wireless connections.

The problem sounds like it's outside of your control. I'd give your ISP a call.
