I just ran /arch/setup to install it from archlinux live cd, everything is ok until I went to the 5th step, Install Packages.
The installation program took some time check the integrity of the packages, and the returned to main menu directly. No error message at all, and nothing was installed.
I have installed archlinux several times, and never met this kind of condition before. Any one know why? Or where I can find install log or sth like that?

read one of:
- the message you get when you start the installer
- the installers documentation
- the installation guide.

Ok, how do you know nothing is installed?
Nothing in my partition, it was empty.
Maybe that's because my 64 bit cd can't pass the integrity check and then it abort installing packages, but the installation program continued as nothing happend.

I had the (probably) same issue actually during a fresh install about a couple of weeks ago.
I just figured it was my crappy burner (it is really busted) so i tried the 64 bit USB image and it worked like a charm!
