Binary files will follow when i am back at home at my decent internet connection.

Hmm.. What do you need that patchfile for?

It's just my very own opinion, but I tend to leave the "official" files as untouched as possible smile

Here's an excerpt from my scorched3d-PKGBUILD, following the way of many other packages which simply change installation paths during "make install"

make prefix=$startdir/pkg/usr datadir=$startdir/pkg/usr/share/scorched3d install

Works like a charm and there's no need to worry about patchfiles..  At least not for such a small change..

And binaries from my PKGBUILD for scorched3d can be found here  big_smile

Re: [new] Scorched3D

Possible.. didn't try to override the datadir at the makefile

I would also change the ./configure line then, adding a --datadir=/usr/share/games/scorched3d ... just because you could get unwanted side-effects of programs not finding their data directory. It's luck that scorched finds your data dir (why ever it does, because it shouldn't).

Re: [new] Scorched3D

Maybe you should try searching before posting "new" PKGBUILDS?  smile
