[Solved] Installation Warning: -No Seperate /boot filesystems

Hi,

I am trying to install Arch with my handy Archlinux handbook but I seem to have run into a problem.

I am trying to set up my partitions the same as the example used in the book on page 21 - sizing it for my laptop.  sda1 as /root, sda2 as /var etc.   The book makes no mention of a separate boot partition (or else I managed to miss it).  I did flag my root directory sda1 as the boot directory when I partitioned.

I then tried to set the filesystem mount points again following the guide.  However, when I finished I got the following message:

Warnings
    - No seperate /boot filesystems

and the following options: 1)  go back or 2) ignore, continue ignoring the issue.

Not sure if I need to back up and restart or plunge ahead - any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
fbr:/

Safely ignore if you don't need it.

As Shylock said, if you don't need it, just ignore it. It is just a warning.
