Already downloaded 3 times.

I had the same problem, but running pacman -U /var/cache/package/pkg/gaim-1.1.3-1.pkg.tar.gz worked for me. I know it's not a fix but a work around if you can't wait to get the latest gaim.

I updated about half an hour ago, and worked... dont know what was the problem before...

I was using pacman -S gaim, when the corruption error poped, i did a rm /var/cache/pacman/pkg/gaim... and try again, did this three times before posting.
Thats why i didnt need to use the -U flag, as i was manually removing the package.

Now its working, so... i guess there is nothing to see here.
