So, I tried adding all my modules to my rc.conf instead of letting udev do automatic installation of them. Now I can't boot. Is there a way I can get into single user mode? I tried adding S to the grub line where it specifies Arch but the command prompt just freezes when it asks for the password. Any help would really be appreciated.
Had a USB of Mint Linux lying around and was able to fix rc.conf

you could always use the livecds you installed with, mount your partition, and just edit your rc.conf back to autoload.

If all you did was edit rc.conf you could boot to a live cd, mount the drive, and reverse the changes that way.
... beat me to it
