Hi everyone,
I'm looking for an installation iso for archlinux. All I can find is the live cd and I can not get the installation to start. (Maybe I do something wrong.) I let the iso boot till the boot screen( where you can find the boot: text). There I type in /arch/setup but the message I get is similar to "Image not found."

Just so I understand you correctly, you are letting it boot until you have to login to the system with either root or arch right?

I let it boot until I see the folowing screen. There I type in /arch/setup and then the error appears (as you can see in the image below)

Thats because your system hasn't fully booted yet. You need to hit enter and let the system boot into the linux environment.

thanks. That works. I'm going to be setting archi up as an webserver (Apache, PHP and MySQL). When I install the core, witch extra packages should I choose to be able to have an internet connection? (I want to install apache, php and mysql from the commandline when archi is installed.)

You shouldn't have to install anything unless you need wireless.

Hot tip of the day (and on any day!): Use the Beginner's Guide in the Arch Wiki.

I'm used to an older ArchLinux version (with no Live option). There I had to start the install from a screen similar to the abough ;-)
