Hi all -
I have a intel 945GM on my notebook. But only 160 fps got when I run glxgears, and also, when glxgears run, a cup reach 100%.
So, my question is - Does this means my video card's hardware rendering is disabled?
How to check if it is enabled?

What does this show?
glxinfo | grep render

direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945GM GEM 20091221 2009Q4 x86/MMX/SSE2

so, is this means hardware render is on?
But 160 fps is really not high...:-(

glxgears IS NOT a benchmark. Download some opengl application and run it. If you have trouble with it, then report problems. CPU usage is always 100 with glxgears and the better the cpu, better the score will be. There could be numerous reasons for glxgears low results (for exaple vertical synch).
