redland and rasqal

after upgrading redland today, I got this error:
/usr/lib/ardour2/ardour-2.8.4: error while loading shared libraries: librasqal.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

$ qtractor
qtractor: error while loading shared libraries: librasqal.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

They both worked find until the redland upgrade. the rasqal was upgraded a day before and the apps worked find.

Re: redland and rasqal

well it looks like maintainer did not bother to read rasqal web page.
I had the same problem, fixed by downgrading rasqal and compiling new redland package against previous version of rasqal. You can downgrade both if you want though.

whatever depends on redland will have problems because new rasqal is not compatible with previous versions. So all redland (/rasqal) dependend software will fail with new rasqal version.

I never file bug if I am the only one with a problem as it might be that my config is at fault

Re: redland and rasqal

Besides the bug report, is there somewhere to track the progress on this getting fixed?

I don't know who Kernel Debugger is, but Microsoft can keep him.

Re: redland and rasqal

Ok.  Ardour and OO on my x86_64 desktop weren't affected.  Odd...

Re: redland and rasqal

hey guys, this is the latest version is the only version of rasqal in my pacman cache and I don't clear it out for just these kind of reasons.
Everything in my pacman cache is there. Did some package just started to use this or was something renamed?
I can't wait for the bug fix as the priority is medium and way too many high priority apps ahead.
I use my computer for recording music and use Ardour and as backup, Qtractor and both are dead.
