Hi
with the new kernel the samsung fn-keys should be working fine, so I wanted to map the brightness keys with xbacklight.
I installed the xorg-server-utils and tried "xbacklight" in a x console.
But "xbacklight -10" does not change anything. The brightness is still the same.
I see the value changing with "xbacklight -get" but nothing is visible.
btw, I'd like to map wifi fn-key too, how do I turn off wifi to save power (I have a ath9k module) ? how about bluetooth?
thanks

Try "xbacklight set 10" to lower brightness, "xbacklight set 100" to raise it.
I think you can only turn off wifi and bluetooth if there is a hardware switch to do that.
